Just Add Power (J+P) has started to ship its 1G AV-over-IP accessory called Warp Engine. It’s a 1RU transmitter/receiver explicitly designed for video walls to allow the content to be displayed at any imaginable angle — thus, allowing you to use varying display configurations to create “shapes” or “galleries” of monitors making up one wall.
We shot a video of that at CEDIA:
With the new Warp Engine, installers can rotate any HDMI source in 0.1-degree increments in real-time using 1G JPEG2000 decoding. The rotated image can then be sent to an unlimited number of receivers in the network, allowing for the creation of artistic video walls using a single Warp Engine; that’s HDCP-2.2-compliant.
